empowering women
— and being empowered by them.

International Women’s Day (IWD) — a focal point in the movement for women's rights — is celebrated each year on March 8. This year’s campaign theme is celebrating women's achievements while calling for a more gender-balanced world.

And to help celebrate, we want to hear from you. What are you doing to empower women today — at work, at home and in your day-to-day life? And how have women empowered you?

how we’re empowering women at randstad today

There are so many ways we’re empowering women at Randstad right now. For starters, our Hire Hope program provides 22 weeks of career readiness training, including paid apprenticeship and job placement opportunities, to survivors of homelessness, exploitation and human trafficking.

We also have business resource groups like Women in Randstad Empowering Development (WIRED), which helps women at Randstad develop and reach their goals, personally as well as professionally.

Additionally, Randstad Technologies partnered with Women in Technology International (WITI) to foster greater gender equality in the workplace and encourage female students of all ages to consider STEM education and careers.

Finally, we recently took the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ pledge, formally committing our company to equal pay and greater inclusivity. And through our partnership with organizations like Girls on the Run, we're ensuring that empowering women isn't just a priority today, but continues into the next generation, too.

So what are you doing to empower women in your life? And how have they empowered you? We can't wait to find out.
